How can I make sure I am notified about court proceedings?
Answer
The Crime Victim Bill of Rights includes the right to be notified of any action in court proceedings, any change in the status of the accused, and the availability of compensation for victims. In order to receive these services, you must provide law enforcement with your name, address, home, cell and work phone numbers. If this information changes, you must notify the jail, the prosecuting attorney’s office, and Hodac so you can be easily reached.
